Energy & Commodities Industry

I have been in the energy business in one way or another all of my professional life and during that time I have written or contributed to hundreds of articles, blogs and books on a wide variety of topics. You can find my bio on LinkedIn for more information and in order to connect to me.

Recently, I rejoined my friend and business partner, Patrick Reames, and am a Partner and MD at Commodity Technology Advisory. Commodity Technology Advisory is the leading analyst organization covering the Energy and Commodity Trading and Risk Management (E/CTRM) technology markets. We provide invaluable insights, backed by primary research and years of experience, into the issues and trends affecting both the users and providers of the applications and services that are crucial for success in markets constantly roiled by globalization, regulation and innovation.

I have written articles for a wide variety of publications and blogs including CommodityPoint’s CTRM Blog which I created in 2005 (originally as the ETRM Blog and later also the CTRM Blog) and you can also search the archives at UtiliPoint/CommodityPoint for a lot more articles. A Google search will also pull up other articles in various publications including Energy Risk, Commodities Now and a variety of other industry periodicals and publications.
